So, what exactly is Kundalini yoga and breathwork, and why should you care?
First of all, let's talk about the science. Numerous studies have shown that yoga and meditation can have PROFOUND effects on our physical, mental, and emotional health.
For example:
A 2018 study published in the journal Frontiers in Human Neuroscience found that just 12 minutes of daily yoga practice for eight weeks led to significant improvements in cognitive function and mood.
Another study published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that regular yoga practice can lead to significant reductions in anxiety and depression.
And a review of 20 studies published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology found that mindfulness-based interventions, such as yoga and meditation, are effective in reducing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder
(PTSD).
But what about Kundalini yoga specifically?
Kundalini yoga is a powerful form of yoga that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and
chanting to activate the body's natural healing abilities and awaken our inner potential.
Some of the benefits of Kundalini yoga include:
Reduced stress and anxiety: Kundalini yoga is known for its ability to reduce the levels of the stress hormone cortisol in the body, leading to a greater sense of calm and relaxation.
Improved focus and concentration: The combination of physical movement, breath work, and meditation in Kundalini yoga can help improve cognitive function and enhance focus and concentration.
Increased energy and vitality: Kundalini yoga is designed to awaken the energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine, known as kundalini energy. When this energy is activated, it can lead to greater levels of vitality and well-being.

To understand that when we succumb to these emotions and GIVE away our peace, we shift to a fight/flight/freeze state, weakening our electromagnetic field and making us more susceptible to scattered brain, short term memory loss, digestion issues, hard time sleeping and eventually leading to physical dis-ease.
